For more than two decades, I have helped international audiences understand Brazil. A native New Yorker and former reporter, I began my career at ABC News before earning a master’s degree from Columbia University, where I studied Brazilian economic history and capital markets.

I later moved to São Paulo as a Reuters correspondent, where I spent nearly five years covering Brazil’s corporate, economic, and political landscape for global investors and media audiences. Returning to the U.S., I built a career in strategic communications, leading multinational programs for Fortune 500 corporations at JeffreyGroup and later overseeing communications and reputation management across the U.S. and Brazil for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated institutional investors.

I am deeply versed in financial markets, as well as a broad range of industries and asset classes, including fintech, industrials, infrastructure, private equity, private credit, and renewable energy.

My work has always centered on the same challenge: interpreting and contextualizing Brazil’s business stories for audiences beyond its borders.
